Freaking heat in the middle of winter
This has been so far a pretty decent winter, not too cold, but cold; that is up until today, when, out of the blue, we got hit by a shit humid weather bomb, and the fucking temperature jumped like the devil.
Believe or not, I don't give a rat ass about fútbol. Sometimes I do watch a Mundial match (an Argentine one, of course) and mostly to avoid IngSoc from taking away my citizenship ;) It is not an elitist thing, it is a "I'm totally fed up with this shit thing". Eco has a good one, "How not to talk about soccer".
Actually, and this a secret that it will be denied by the state; we let zhe germans win on purpose. After all, they lost WWII (and WWI) so we wanted them to feel good for once ;)
