Ubuntu on high resolution

High resolution Ubuntu
Modified the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file from Orbis Tertius, and hooked up the box to my Samsung monitor.

Damn! The combination of Ubuntu + NVIDIA + a higher resolution looks rather sexy.

Too bad I had to settle for 1280x960 as the resolution, because at 1440x900 it leaves black unused space around the main screen, maybe the card is too old for this widescreen resolution? Or needs a new ROM, just like the one Thor has needed?
Nevertheless, it is a pretty cool resolution.

Here is a copy of the xorg.conf file:

# xorg.conf (X.Org X Window System server configuration file)

# again, run the following command:
# sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg
