Movies & Movies & More Movies

  • Interstellar
Madonna, what a piece of crap!
Boring, loong, pretentious and stupid... Just like practically every other Nolan movie (except "Memento") :P

  • The Imitation Game
It was entertaining, sort of a companion to "Codebreaker".
The writer certainly doesn't waste a minute trying to explain

  • The Fountainhead
Oh boy! Does this movie have an overacted female lead or what? :D

  • Touching The Void
Pretty, pretty awesome, "127 Hours" on steroids.
Don't fuck mess with The Andes! ;)

  • How I Live Now
Strange, a post apocalyptic teenage movie... Set on the English countryside.
It certainly isn't like "Threads".

Oscar Movies 2015

Been really busy lately, not much time except for the GF and work, so Oesediez got left behind a little behind...
We watched a couple of movies, specially Oscar nominees for this year, during the last weeks or so
  • Birdman
Didn't like it, the GF either...
Kinda fun, but not much.
  • Whiplash
The best of the bunch so far, and the GF agrees as well.
  • Boyhood
This one was bad, a total dissapointment. I'm a huge fan of the "Before... " series, but this one was a real bummer.

Atkinson & Fury

Saw it last night, I should say I was sort of expecting something else...
I really enjoyed it.
Read about this movie on a Rick Atkinson interview about a week ago or so, he mentioned as a very good portrait of life as a tank crew member during the last days of the war, and it picked my curiosity...
